CTAE…

CTAE is not only for high school students, but is also an integral part of developing middle school students who are preparing for high school, and integral in the development of useful career plans prior to entering ninth grade. CTAE can be introduced at the elementary level; however, it is quite necessary at the middle school level to support career choices and to enable  more specific Pathway Courses to be offered at the high-school level. From Career Development, to AgriBusiness, to Computer Science, to Military Science, to Family and Consumer Sciences, CTAE encompasses a wide array of experiences our students need to function in the real world. Further, many career areas needed when our students reach the world of work can be located in the realm of CTAE. Moreover, courses offered should be based upon the needs and resources of the community.  We can assist you identifying need, locating curriculum, choosing classes to offer, and evaluating your current programs.
