Student led conferences are a powerful way to empower students to take ownership of their own learning.  We did them once per year at the end of first semester, and I was always amazed how much parents shared about how they loved how their child was able to explain their work and why they earned the grades at semester they earned.

We can lead you through the process from gaining teacher buyin, to how to select and gather the assignments for each class, to how to train the students to facilitate the conference.  This is truly the most powerful tool I have seen that connects parents, school and students in a positive way, and that documents a process by which students are required to take ownership of their role in their education.

Teachers only facilitate the process by helping to choose assignments, provide students time to practice, and being present for conference night.
